Leather care guide
Genuine ALRAN French goatskin is a natural, full-grain leather, and with a little care it only gets better with time.
Everyday
Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth to keep it looking its best. There's no need for frequent cleaning. Leather likes to be left largely alone.
Keep it dry
Avoid prolonged moisture. If your charm gets caught in the rain, pat it dry with a soft cloth and let it air-dry naturally, away from direct heat.
Away from heat and direct sun
Long spells in direct sunlight or near heat can dry the leather and shift its colour. When you're not using it, keep it somewhere cool and out of strong light.
Embrace the patina
Small marks, softening and a gentle deepening of colour are natural signs of genuine leather. Rather than wear it down, they wear it in, giving your charm character that's entirely its own.
A note on natural leather
Because this is a natural material, grain and colour can vary slightly from piece to piece. That variation is part of the beauty of real French goatskin.
